Please be patient.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"do-you-adapt-the-treatment-programme-to-the-different-diseases\"><\/span>Do you adapt the treatment programme to the different diseases?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Yes, of course, the treatment is customised to the individual patient based on the medical history and laboratory tests.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"what-does-the-daily-routine-look-like-during-the-two-week-therapy\"><\/span>What does the daily routine look like during the two-week therapy?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.akupunktur-noll.de\/en\/eye-acupuncture\/\">Eye acupuncture<\/a> is the basis of the treatment and is also performed twice on each treatment day during the two-week therapy. The additional therapies can always vary slightly.<\/p>\n<p>Normally, the treatment protocol consists of two infusions and two physiotherapies per week.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"what-instructions-are-given-for-relaxation-therapy\"><\/span>What instructions are given for relaxation therapy?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Our relaxation therapist gives each glaucoma patient a meditation that is individually tailored to their needs, which they can also take home with them and practise there.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"are-the-treatments-preferably-in-the-morning-or-afternoon\"><\/span>Are the treatments preferably in the morning or afternoon?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>We work all day, i.e. the first appointment is accepted at 9.00 am and the last at 4.00 pm.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"is-the-therapy-a-kind-of-wellness-treatment\"><\/span>Is the therapy a kind of wellness treatment?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>I wouldn&#8217;t call it a wellness treatment. We stimulate the body to activate its self-healing powers, provide an intensive stimulus every day for a fortnight and patients often feel tired during the treatment.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"does-the-initial-treatment-have-to-be-repeated\"><\/span>Does the initial treatment have to be repeated?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>As we now also have many patients from abroad or from all over Germany, we recommend various options. For patients who come from further afield and can therefore only visit us once a year, we recommend repeating the two-week treatment.<\/p>\n<p>Others come twice a year for a week and patients from the local area sometimes come monthly.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"are-two-hours-of-physiotherapy-per-week-sufficient-during-the-two-week-initial-treatment\"><\/span>Are two hours of physiotherapy per week sufficient during the two-week initial treatment?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Yes, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.akupunktur-noll.de\/en\/therapy\/physiotherapy\/\">physiotherapy<\/a> is very strenuous for the body and you have to give the body time to implement this new information.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"why-is-the-therapy-limited-to-two-weeks\"><\/span>Why is the therapy limited to two weeks?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The therapy is very intensive and it would simply be too much to continue treatment for another week. In addition, the points that we acupuncture after two weeks become very sensitive. In severe cases, however, we recommend acupuncture twice more in the third week and again in the fourth week.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"do-the-infusions-have-any-side-effects\"><\/span>Do the infusions have any side effects?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The infusions generally have no side effects, as we generally only supply the body with what it is lacking. And that is very important for the eyes. Of course, we have to take into account any medication you may be taking, but so far we can only report positive experiences. Macular degeneration is not the disease itself, but a symptom of a disease. Blunt trauma or swelling in the head area can impair blood circulation.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"what-role-does-nutrition-play-in-this-context\"><\/span>What role does nutrition play in this context?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>As people get older, they often lack nutrients and the ability to neutralise free radicals. A balanced diet is therefore important to maintain the eye&#8217;s defences. A lack of time often plays a role for younger people. They go out or buy ready meals. Naturally, there is a lack of control over the freshness of the food, how it is grown, etc. This can lead to vitamin and mineral deficiencies even at a young age.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"how-can-food-supplements-help\"><\/span>How can food supplements help?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>As the nutrient content of our food is becoming ever lower, it can be useful to take certain micronutrients in the form of food supplements.<\/p>\n<p>There are a number of scientific studies that show that if the body is adequately supplied with micronutrients, the general risk of disease is reduced or the progression of the disease can be halted or delayed.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"do-i-need-a-doctors-prescription-for-the-therapy\"><\/span>Do I need a doctor&#8217;s prescription for the therapy?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>No, a doctor&#8217;s prescription is not necessary for the therapy, as acupuncture specifically for the eyes is not covered by health insurance.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"can-you-give-my-employer-a-sick-note\"><\/span>Can you give my employer a sick note?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>We cannot write off sick. If the health insurance is to cover the treatment, the sick note only counts if the patient has the sick note certified by a doctor.<\/p>\n<p>We can issue a certificate for a visit to the practice (for one day).
